Financial assistance under PMMVY
Under this scheme, a total assistance amount of Rs 5,000 is given to the eligible beneficiaries, which is given in three installments:
First installment: An amount of Rs 1,000 is given to the pregnant woman within 6 weeks of pregnancy.
Second installment: An amount of Rs 2,000 is given to the woman within 6 weeks after delivery.
Third installment: An amount of Rs 2,000 is given to the woman when the baby is 6 months old.
